Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I'm trying to order Christmas presents today, but my stupid bank hasn't cleared my deposit yet, so I'm stuck. I have all these windows open, ready to hit the order button, but I can't. Grrrrrrr...

So, instead, I'm working on gathering addresses for the Christmas letter/card list. That's fun.

Trust my rage

Cash, it's so good to "see" you. Glad to hear you and your little bean are both doing well. I bet Plei has some good suggestions for bedrest boredom!

If I only had a brain...

God bless 'em. This is a picture from the annual Brown/Radcliffe Women's Rugby Prom Dress Game.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

One thing I need to send you, Cash, is the Serenity comic #3.

Just found it sitting on the kitchen table.

And we're cleaning the kitchen table because we just went from No Guests for xmas eve dinner to 5 guests for xmas eve dinner. I'm not sure how that's gonna work

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

the annual Brown/Radcliffe Women's Rugby Prom Dress Game.

It makes me very happy just to know such a thing exists. The pushup picture is priceless.

I've posted my Wintergrace mix at Buffistarawk. This is my prettiest mix of traditional bluegrass vocals. Track list here: DavidS "Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach" Dec 18, 2005 10:24:10 am PST

Something for everybody!

For Jilli - "In the Bleak Midwinter"
For Askye - just about all of it as this is stuff you like
For Cindy - lots of beautiful devotional songs

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Holy shit, we're getting apocalyptic thunder and lightning here. It's like bombs dropping in my neighborhood.

So that's what that is.

Because books.

Yay, Hec! I was wondering if you'd have a winter/holidays mix.

At odd times I'm also tempted to challenge you. Like, a mix in which every song features a mandolin. Or the word purple. Or something.

Off to download...

Mandolin wouldn't be too hard. iTunes says I've only got 12 purple songs though: "Purple Rain," "Purple People Eater," "Purple Avenue" (two covers of this Tom Waits song one by Holly Cole and one by Ute Lemperer).
