Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I was unimpressed.

Sorry to hear that. I think I need to get a DVD or Video of the original.

Cutting each other's hair?

I used to cut the boys all the time, and DH when he was crazed for time. I hate cutting his hair because it is very very thick and really tough for a non-pro to get it right. The boys go with him now which works for me.

I probably can remember every single time I have had my hair cut. It's a thing where I hate when people touch my hair. Goes back to when I was a kid and had long hair that people touched. Ick. The boys know they are welcome to hug and kiss me all they want, but don't touch the hair. I don't mind mom or my sisters cutting it, but I'm very unfond of strangers touching it. Ick.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I cut my own hair sometimes. Curly hair is a lot more forgiving than straight when it comes to that.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm only brave enough to trim my bangs occasionally.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I still haven't gotten my hair cut yet and it's needed. Badly. I lost the referral phone number I had. I have no other leads for a stylist here in town. I need Hec to come cut my hair. I'm also on the fence about bangs.

I think you need to come to Chicago and go to my guy. What? You've got nothing but time right now, right?

I might consider it. Does he do color as well?

Yup. And he's cheap. For Chicago, anyhoo.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I might consider it.
Turn two. The rest are ... referrals?

Made mom a delish dinner. She is now sick of me dancing around to amusing music though and has requested coffee. Such a spoil sport.

We are also both happily plinking on our laptops. It's nice. I might make her watch a House soon.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Oh good grief:

Iran announced yesterday it would stage a conference to question the authenticity of the Holocaust

What are the thinking "Hmm, how can we piss off more of the world?"

This sounds a lot like a night with Andi and me. Only I don't really have to force her to watch House...and we aren't family.

Yet.
