Cashmere, That place looks lovely- we were at a Wyndam property in San Juan, the Condado Plaza and Casino. Puerto Rico was nice, but I didn't really get to see a lot of it- no matter how lovely the hotel is, it does get to feel like a prison when you can't leave it. Ah, the fun of on site conference work.
I'd like to go back, both to San Juan and to other areas of the island.
erika, the thing is that this pinball game was obviously designed by people who had been watching the show with immense amounts of love and obsessive attentiveness. It was crammed with all sorts of character and plot details and inside jokes, all transmuted into 3-dimensional gamefulness. It may be a wrong wrong wrong idea, but it's been brought to such beautiful fruition that there's no way
not
to admire it.
And we haven't even played it yet. Next week we will, with another report to follow.
What Debet said. Also, if I were the boss of her wardrobe, I'd let her keep the white and cream, but that pink monstrosity and anything else that's a color one might possibly see on an Easter egg would be promptly burned.
She
designed
the pink thing? The mind reels.
You think there's no heroism in refraining from smacking the shit out of House?
That would rock. Well, it would rock if she clipped him the once just to let him know what kind of beat-down she was sparing him.

But can you imagine the sheer snarkalicious beauty of a House/Giles argument?
I've only seen "House" once. Still wanna see that. I
About to do a big immersion before trying to get a job as a Crip Media Pundette.(Thanks are due Anne for the tip.)
I used to be a hypochondriac so if I think I'm dying this month that might be why.
Speaking of body types and fashion, how would you dress this woman? Because she sure can't do it herself.
I'd love to see her in things that are sort of classic, and custom tailored. The woman is a goddess. She shouldn't look bad as she often does, considering the raw material. The problem is all in the dressing. The stuff she chooses is too trendy, as well as ill-fitting, and seems to think revealling always equals sexy, and it so does not. Let me wonder what's under there at little, Serena.

I don't think the color is as much a problem as the extreme cut of that pink gown (although if she told me she wanted to go for bright color, I'd try coral rather than that pink [link] If she had proper support, if the slit was subtle rather than obvious, and if the neckline weren't trying to join with the slit, she could even wear a well-fitted dress in that basic style (just fitted way the heck differently).
that first pink dress - looked too big on her - I just thought she needed 1) clothes that fit and 2) basic aknowlegement that she has a strong body. She needs clothes that fit her well, but give her room to move. A skirt that is too sleek , is going to make her look like she is trying to fake being a girl.
I've decided that I am on strike today.
I am making buttons and signs.
