Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I used to date a guy with a foot fetish. It really wasn't bad or even all that weird.
Oh yeah, ChiKat, there would be some nice upsides to it. I'm a sucker for a good foot massage. No idea if he does pedicures, but whoa that would be bonus too. But I don't dig him. Oh well.
He used to give great foot rubs and would pay for my pedicures. Again, there are definite up sides.
Sigh...
He told me I'd always have a job there and to stop worrying about that.
The bug that can and DOES! (pardon the asscaps, got all happy for you having a good boss that we don't need to thwap, vw.)

Would it be bad if I took an over the counter sleep medicine. I've never used them before but I really need help sleeping.

I'm a little late on this one, askye, but if you're not averse to alternative or natural remedies, I've had really good luck with melatonin and with Calms Forte. The latter is probably only at health food stores, but you can usually find melatonin with the vitamins at pharmacies or supermarkets. Whether or not this works for you, much sleep ~ma!

Also, interview ~ma to Calli and juliana.

Also, we just got brand new, very shiny trash cans at work. Unfortunately, the old ones matched the building better and were just fine, so it seems like a waste of money. I'd go to surplus to get one of the perfectly nice old ones to send you, juliana, but I think shipping would cost much more than the can is worth.

toast: Apparently librarian work is very stressful, at least in the UK. Which is weird to me, because although I certainly love my job more at some times than others, I love my job. So do most of my librarian friends. It is possible to love a stressful job, I suppose, but most of the stress I feel has been institutional or situational (because staff changes), not specific to library work at all. [link]

Trust my rage

And consider the source.

I'll tell him. He's always interested in what the buffistas have to say. The not so (funny) part of the whole story is that he hurt his knee the first time playing soccer for PT. THe Army went to this "no games during PT" thing a while ago, but lots of people violate because games are more fun than constant weight lifting and running. Still, I think Joe proves why it is a good rule.

Amiee, that sounds like a great apartment. Are you guys moving?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We're thinking about it. We're being very very very picky.

It might very well be a crack den. It's above a street we wanted to stay below, but we'll go see. I'd rather hardwood, but I'll settle for carpet if I get 1300 sq ft.

Sorry, brenda, I just had to share.

Me too. That would be $1800-$2800 here, depending on location. At least. Huh.
