Question for anyone that's ever sold women's shoes on Ebay:
I'm selling these shoes and someone just asked if they could get a picture (or pictures) of me wearing the shoes. She or he claim that they get a better idea of what the shoes really look like when there's a foot in the shoe.
So... my question is - legit or shoe/foot fetish? Anyone have an opinion?
Probably okay, but...
That's a pretty clear picture and for not a lot of money - I don't see any need to go there, frankly.
My opinion is that the picture is just fine as is.
Cute shoes. I can see how someone could get a better idea what they look like on a person. Maybe add a picture to the ad with your cute feet rather than just send it to the one person.
I've *never* heard of someone asking for a picture of shoes being worn for an auction.
I...I rarely post here, but that request SO calls out for you to find someone with really ugly feet to model them for you. I'm mean that way.
Being nice, find an online photo.
If it makes you go
uhhh
that's enough reason to say no.
Phew! I was worried I was being paranoid. And considering the wording of the question was them asking me to email them directly with the pics... EW. Double EW! I think I'll just ignore the question.
Or, per sarameg's advice, I'll see if one of my male friends can fit into a size 9 shoe long enough for me to take a pic.
Color me naive. I have this annoying habit of assuming the best about people.
It's okay, Laura. We'll protect you.
