Good news for Buffistas is that paper doesn't compress much. So tucking yourself amongst the stacks of books on your floor is a decent survival strategy.(pats self on back for having a protective Wall Of Books in more than one place at Chez Bee) It’s not an excessive bibliogreed, it’s disaster planning! I could even use some of the mass market paperbacks as fuel if I absolutely had to.
Washing machine: still broken. Installing a speed controller didn’t enable the wash tub go through the spin cycle. I have discovered that it can take two days for a sopping wet towel to release enough water so that it can be put into the dryer. First, there’s hanging-and-dripping. Next, there’s wringing and twisting and waiting for awhile and wringing again. Then, there’s hanging it outside hoping that the wind will dehydrate it a little. Then, bringing back into the house in case it rains. That’s a lot of work. I say it sucks.
I'm not going to get out of this hole by hibernating. I have to attempt to climb.
Dangitall, that probably means hibernating won’t work for me either.
I often offer to rent out my kids, but so far I have had minimal success. CJ does vaccuum...(Makes note about where to obtain teenagers for the doing of chores around here)
