At my old salary, I'd literally be working to pay the sitter--and I didn't make bad money for an admin assistant in the midwest.
Yeah. This is strike 1, 2, and 3 against additional kids for us. I mean, of course, it can be successfully argued that from a purely financial standpoint, the years of paying all your money to pay for daycare pay for themselves long-term (in your increased earnings potential, social security, blah blah blah blah blah), but in the short run, it both sucks and blows.

This is perhaps a not inopportune time to announce that, sane or not, mr. flea and I are expecting our second child in mid-late July. Project Baby 2.0 is codenamed the Armadillo.
Anyway, since Cash is in the home stretch, somebody's got to fill the "pregnant buffista" niche. I am fine if tired and ravenously hungry, early ultrasounds show something not unlike an armadillo, and Casper doesn't really know yet.
