Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm not sure, but I think that makes you a real Californian now. t snuggles kwistin

The status is NOT quo.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going to go collapse now. Love to all of you--I needed it today.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Kristin, I am so sorry about the accident. Injury on top of insult is right... Get some good sleep tonight.

I mean, maybe if the person giving the massage was really hot or something...
Sigh, I used to have the mostest gorgeous massage guy ever.

Oh crap, Kristin, that sucks. Be nice if life would let up on you a little, wouldn't it?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ugh. This is the second morning in a row that I have woken up at 4:30 and been not able to get back to sleep. I guess this means I will be all coffeed up in time to go to work...and that I can go to work early and monopolize the copier.

Not enough reason to get up at 4:30, IMHO.

Kristin, what a shitty day, honey. I'm so sorry.

Trust my rage

Morning, Bitches! Joe is already at work and I'm sitting in our "sun room" (that sounds so grand) on the couch with a warm dog curled up on either side of me. The only light on in the house is the Christmas tree. It's so peaceful and quiet in the house. I'm trying to enjoy the tree for a few more minutes before I put everything away this afternoon. Next Christmas will be in PR - i wonder if they have real trees there?

Our wings are not tired.

Ah yes. Peaceful mornings are nice. Puerto Rico has forests, so probably trees. My neighbor's business is there so he spends every other week in PR. Kind of a pain for his wife and 3 kids though. I've never been. Next time I see him at soccer I'll have to suggest the kids go there with him one trip, with me of course. Juan is assistant coach for DH on the soccer team that Bobby and his son are on. (my sentence writing skills have not yet awakened)

{{Kristin}} I'm so sorry. I think you need to plan a little mid-January private NYE celebration. Clearly you are still in 2005 and need to signal the universe that it's time for a new year.

Puerto Rico has forests, so probably trees.

Do pine trees grow in the tropics? I guess I'll find out.

Kristin, I'm sorry about the car accident! i agree with Laura - the universe needs to give you a break for a while.

I guess I should get up and do something. I've been sitting here for almost an hour.

Oh, Kristin! That sucks so much. I'm so sorry. I hope today is a little better. {{{Kristin}}}

Timelies, morning shift! Erin, it's good to see you.

I'm a little less sniffly this morning, for which I am very thankful. Now to start attacking that to-do list I made.
