heh. 'Tis funny--especially when I have to hoist myself up from a sitting position on the floor. The sciatica has pretty much taken any fun out of any position but rising is especially unfun.

Hey, Bitches. I posted in my LJ, but for those non-LJ types, I ended my hellacious day by rear-ending some poor 18 year old on the 101. It was totally my fault—I was distracted and didn't notice the usual LA stop-and-go had become more stop than go. Luckily he and his girlfriend were fine (they were in a Mitsubishi Montero SUV and only blew out one taillight), but I completely crunched the front of my Forester and tweaked the hell out of my neck and back. The Forester has been towed to a body shop for what looks to be more than a thousand in damages (my deductible is $500), and my insurance company has been informed. For now I am carless and hurting. It really hasn't been a good day.

Aww, Kristin, big big hugs! I hate that--the few times I've been in an accident, it's been one of those things, where my mind just wasn't there enough, and the other person is like "What the HELL?" Hated that feeling. I hope the damage ends up being fairly easy to fix.

You all and your body issues--I have plenty of them, and the occasional "I'm too fat to leave the house/kiss anyone/look good", but not going to get a massage hadn't even OCCURRED to me to be one of them, before! Huh. Cause--screw that, they're people I PAY to touch me! I mean, maybe if the person giving the massage was really hot or something...

I had a yummy yummy dinner tonight--anyone who's ever in Orlando should go to "Season 52". It's delicious, AND nutritious! All the entrees are promised to have less than 500 calories (partly by not layering on cream sauces, and partly by portion size) and the desserts are served in little shot glasses, so you can have just a taste, or you can have several!
