Well, lady, I must say-- You're my kinda stupid.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Raq, glad to hear your shaking was incident free!

vw, I'll move with you to that apartment, too. After I finish wiping the drool off my keyboard.

Bev! t tacklehug-smooch-smooch Any reason why you can't enjoy the solitude and then go walkies?

IOweatherN, we have orb in Wisconsin! Whoo and hoo! I woke up to sunshine in my eyes. I feel human again and no longer like a subterrestrial cave dweller. Whee!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Deena, Mal has Owen beat in the cheeky smile department. Man, that kid is GORGEOUS. I'm almost certain they're edible.

Today's Kara: "Mommy, you know what your biggest job as a mommy is?"
Me: "What?"
Kara: "To love me more than anything!"

Ha! The girl is patently evil, of course. Cute but evil.

Raq, I hope all is safe and sound there. Earthquakes are both scary and unfun.

All is well that ends in pizza.

We have Orb in Minnesota, too, of course. Wooo!

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I want that apartment too. It's got the pretty. I've been watching landscaping shows. Most of the houses we can (hopefully) afford have really boring yards.

Mal is a beautiful baby. I love that picture; it shows off his pretty mama, too.

I want orb! We suddenly got cold again, and no sun, just grayness and yuck.

Bev, could you hang out in the space until they come back and then go take your walk? Best of both worlds!

Our wings are not tired.

We have Orb in Florida! So not exactly surprising.

If you see me here yell at me and tell me to get back to work. Too much to do...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

llama!

Cass, peace to you and your family. Raq, I'm glad to hear the quake didn't cause you any damage beyond the queasiness. Deena, I hope the kids calm down!

I am dyeing my hair today. Currently bleaching my roots, which I only do about every 3 dye-jobs because it's a HUGE PAIN IN MY ASS. Ten more minutes until I can wash it out and apply the blue.

Compassionately intolerant

Minimal orb in DC. Not enough orb. We are, however, promised temps in the 50s tomorrow. God help me, I'm ready to cheer global warming. Which is terribly shallow and shortsighted, since we've actually had a fairly mild winter so far.

Still?

Yay warm!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It's warmer than yesterday and we have mostly-orb. She's veiling herself intermittently with clouds and then Ta-Da! in all her shining glory, the hussy.

The guys came home bearing groceries, and then some of them left, one is dl-ing to tape to clear off the TiFaux (considering he's got shows on there from 11/01/05, it's past time), and if I can snag DH sometime before bedtime, he needs to sit down and watch Touching Evil and Waking the Dead so I can clear it off for this week's eps.

I just downed a (small) plate of eggs and ham to cushion the fistful of pills I also swallowed. They're supplements, most of them, but prescribed combinations of stuff. Whatever, it seems to be working. Okay, walking now. Wish me no (strange, fierce, unchaperoned) dogs!

ETA: Oof! Hee, tacklehug and smooches! Backatcha, Sail! And I'm Kermit-waving at you, Deena.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Good luck to CJ on his tryouts.

Yeessh, Raq. That's a big one. My friend just forwarded to me new recommendations for how to survive an earthquake. Apparently standing in the door frame isn't such a good idea after all. You want to curl up next to things which will create a void in the collapsed structure. So roll out of bed and lie beside it. Good news for Buffistas is that paper doesn't compress much. So tucking yourself amongst the stacks of books on your floor is a decent survival strategy.
