Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Mom is home from the hospital. Her surgery went well. This surgeon is known for "doing it once, getting it right the first time" - let's hope so.

She is hopped up on all kinds of pain meds and has been tucked into bed. I'm not far behind - well, minus the pain meds.

I'm even going to give buffista~ma credit for my flat tire today not requiring a new $110 tire, but just a $18 repair.

With that, I bid you all a fond adeiu. May the night bring you sweet dreams. If not sweet, then hot and kinky.

{{Teppy}} That is beyond freaking wierd. Lot's of convelesence~ma to your Gramps.

{{Cass}} Peace~ma to the Grandma. I'm sorry your family has to go through this, it is very hard.

IOmemeN, I'm a tad giddy tonight. I took some of my Magic cards in to a game store today and sold most of them. For $1700. Eep. The other 6 are going to be auctioned on e-bay. For, I hope, around $3000. I'm in the state of being able to be knocked down by a feather. If this goes through, I'll be able to totally pay off my Visa card, which will make me very, very happy.

Nuh. Wish I'd saved mine, then. What'd you have, a Black Lotus? Am I making up that name?

The Black Lotus is one of the ones being auctioned. They sell on e-bay for between $700-$1200. I also had 5 of the other 9 Power cards, so those are the ones that will be auctioned. They all sell for between $300 and $700 depending on the card. Seriously, I never thought they'd be this valuable. I only collected them because I thought they were pretty. Last night, to kill some time waiting for a hair appointment, I stopped in a game store and asked if they had a price list, just for S&G. Yeah, they did, and all I did was giggle when I looked at the list.

No shit, Betsy! I feel like one of those people who has an undiscovered Picasso in their attic and takes it into the antique roadshow to find out it's worth a million bucks. My nephew told me a few years ago I had some "valuable" cards; I figured he meant $50 or something! Eep.
