I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

If I only had a brain...

well, FRELL. On my way out the house door I discovered that the little leather pouch that holds my nail clippers and my chapstick and other important purse stuff was missing; I decided to go on and get the hell out of Dodge.

Now I am at work and I have just realized that that pouch contains my migraine drugs and I have that warning buzz in my left temple that may or may not amount to anything.

No-migraine-ma, please.

{{MG}} Eat your spinach!

Teppy, you showed remarkable restraint when speaking with your Aunt. More healing ~ma to your G'father.

Work is so boring this week because there are no students, and I want to go home and clean closets (I'm in the mood, and I've been shopping post-holiday sales, so I need space). Next week, when the students are back, I will want to go home because the building will be so crowded. It's a vicious circle of disatisfaction.

ETA: No migrane ~ma, Betsy. Is there anyway to ask people around you if they happen to carry that medication, too, for a loaner pill?

If I only had a brain...

It's $20.00 a pill, so not really a loaner. Also, I don't know anybody else who has migraines.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

no migrane ma~~~~~~~

Today and tomorrow are all about that. The hard part, is that I have such a hard time getting started in the morning. I might be dressed by 930. Robes, not so good for cleaning.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Betsy--see if you can get two Aleve and take them with a lot of water--that can sometimes head one off.

Today and tomorrow are all about that.

I have about 5 months worth of sick days, so I should take a good look at the work calendar and figure out a good time for me to get the closet-flu, but I've got a work-ethic-progamming block about calling in sick when I'm not. (Thanks, Mom!)

Betsy, can you have your doctor call in one pill to a nearby pharmacy? Or ask the nearby pharmacy to talk to YOUR pharmacy? I've had luck with pharmacists pitching in in such situations.

Fab, y'all, two advantages of the three million there are(No, three, sometimes I get an AB's spot in line, which totally makes up for a lifetime of oppression. Thanks.)

Just go to Disneyland EVERY DAY. Then you are the line-cuttin' queen of the world.

5 months worth of sick days

part of what sick days can and should be used for is mental health. I'm not big on that if I don't have a bunch, but it can revitalize your work attitude. changeing home from chaos to calm - also revitalizing.
