Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I got my Toto picture! Thanks vw. Go you with the letter writing. I never have managed that. A couple sentences is about it for my cards, when I manage them.
Yay! That was quick! I just mailed them on Saturday. I thought with the holiday, it would take longer than that.
Hee. The boys did shovel when we were visiting my sister. If we had snow here they probably wouldn't have found it fun.
My first born baby has become very huggy lately. He's almost a foot taller than me and weighs 185 pounds. I know part of the huggy behavior is his joy at being so much bigger than me as it's new to him too. He'll be 14 in a couple weeks. Only the peachfuzz on his face gives away his youth.
I got mine, too. So cute!
Laura, when the Family Holt pic arrived, the picture had shifted in the card so that Brendon's head was cut off at about nose level. I swear I thought it was on purpose as a little joke about his height until I set it on the shelf and it shifted back into place.
Going to Puerto Rico on Saturday may help temporarily, but coming back to the same cold bleakness will suck.
Remember your diamond beach sandals tend to give you blisters. Don't pack them. For the love of Mike, don't pack them.

I take the hugs, for any reason. Has he tried to shave yet, Laura?

vw, I got my card, yesterday. Thank you! I am going to have my undertaker bill you for my continual deaths-by-lethal-Toto-cuteness, though.

I know, it sounds very blase, but it's for work, and Tom won't be there, and I'm pale and flabby, and just coming off a lot of not being home. So I'm a-whinin'. Will stop though!
Oh, for work, and Tom-less? Not so diamondy. Still, there'll be sunshine in your face. Try to shirk work at every possibility.

Ooh, I like the way you think!

Hee!
So, funny story about the cards. I ordered 60 of them to make sure I had enough. Well, my list was quickly over 60, so I had to cut people...just meant I wasn't sending to as much of the extended family as I had planned. No big. I realized, though, as I was putting the letters together that Walmart had actually sent me two complete orders...so, I had 120 cards. Now I have NO idea what I'm doing with those other 60!
Work shirkage! Good plan. Be sure and pick up a little pink on your cheeks Nora. Yay sunshine!
Has he tried to shave yet, Laura?
He has shaved his moustache 3 times. (I did it the first 2 times for him) He hasn't had any on the chin yet. He shaved himself for the Christmas photo. Hee. He will probably be hairy. Both his grandfathers, and his dad had hairy chests and heavy beards. His legs and pits are bear like. (He would likely not appreciate me discussing his hair, ya think)
Off to work after meeting DH for breakfast.
