I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I flashed to Daisy Jane... I admit it.

Cancer is way stupid. Fuck Canada, I am totally blaming cancer these days.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

This sounds like a good plan as well Cass.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Cancer is way stupid. Fuck Canada, I am totally blaming cancer these days.

One of the Kids in the Hall appologized for causing cancer. So it's all connected.

I think it is an excellent plan. Though I might be overreacting just a little. It's been that kind of night.

My other plan of taquitos and beer is turning out well.

So it's all connected.
I shall blame cancer *and* Canada.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Fucking Canada could be fun...

"My drink preference does not indicate my sexual preference. "

You know how dryers always steal socks and panties...? Could be a Canadian plot...

All is well that ends in pizza.

It seems unreal that my grandma was this vibrant person at my parent's Christmas party on the 10th.

My dad was battling illness for years. The last time I saw him, he was doing fine for a seventy year old with multiple problems. We went to the store, he bought me a shovel for my car, as I had none and the holidays were coming on. Then I drove down to my cousin Steve's for Thanksgiving. On the day after Thanksgiving I stopped by my sister's house for belated Turkey Day dinner and she had just gotten the call that dad was dead. He was doing so well.

"It's always sudden."

That was ten years ago.

I like public transport - you can read on it

One of the reasons I want to go back to cairo is so I can ride the women's car in the subway! I was with Fay's friend E, and we figured if we split up, we'd never find each other again, so we went in the mixed car.

I know how to drive a herd of zebra.

Almare, are you sure you're not the author of that college application essay, the one where you've been the dictator of Argentina, but never been to college?

I *could* go without a car, but...I'm lazy. I like having my car. Without it, my choice of where I could live and where I could work would be curtailed, and it would take me literally twice as long (and a mile of walking) to get to work. Not to mention home from clubs at night, etc, etc (stupid metro only running until midnight on weekdays!)

MG, I'm glad you got a raise, at least! Sucks about the title, but yay money! But oh, I see about your assistant, how awful!!

I can file a Wage Claim Form because the beeeyotch paid herself that $300 (and then some) from my check - plus kept the check I wrote her.

Go Katerina go!!!

Fucking Canada could be fun...

Dunno, it's kind of...LARGE. But I do know of at least one Canadian I'd be more than willing to...

First, I'm a purebreed Colombian, and I would never settled for just Argentina. Secondly., I'm fairly sure I haven'tapplied toany college this year and thirdly, zebra's are easy to drive. I find cattle much harder and more boring.

If I say yes, what college am I being admitted to?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

and she had just gotten the call that dad was dead.
I will admit that I have hoped, in the last few days, that this was the call I would get. But it looks like we will have a much harder battle instead.

My great-grandma, grandma's mom, died in her sleep. I always thought that she was very lucky and led a blessed life. She had literally gone to the doctor's office for a checkup earlier that week and had a clean bill of health. She just went to sleep and the next morning, she was gone. I can't imagine a better way to go.

I keep hoping that one morning, my grandma will just have peacefully died while asleep, so that she can never feel any of this pain. Or as little as possible. I don't think that will happen but I can hope a little.

Her illness is sudden, now I hope her death can be also. At least I hope that it is as peaceful as possible.
