Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Maybe it was a llama dressed up like a moose.

Mostly lurking...

Yay! The binding is done! I just might finish this after all.

Cindy, I am one who moved from SoCal back to Michigan in March. After 18 years in places like California, Florida, Spain and the Indian Ocean. It was a bit of a shock.

ION, I had my first physical therapy appointment for my right arm today. It looks like some of my vertebra are all out of whack and nerves are getting pinched. After a bunch of manipulation and popping a bunch of the little suckers back into place, my arm feels a lot better. I go back again in two weeks. In the meantime, I've got some stretching exercises to help get the back back into shape.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I get the moving back thing from my family and I'm only one state away.

Heh, it was my choice to move back. At least, no one is asking me to leave the state. I'll probably stay here until my father is gone. At that point, all bets are off.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Yay! The binding is done! I just might finish this after all.

I've been reading fantasy books lately. My first thought was "VW is doing well in her magic studies."

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

See, it's when people in MICHIGAN ask us.

When people in California ask us, it gets bumped UP.

Hey Aims, when are you guys moving back?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

See, it's when people in MICHIGAN ask us.

Ahem. What about people in midwestern states that begin with M?? Hmm???

Sail, you need to come visit me when I'm in SF, and then move there. Yes.

LAistas, I may have a friend of mine for you to meet. He moved out there in September, he's a screenwriter who was in theater here, and he's a sweet guy who needs to know actual people (he has impressive agents, he's just worried about losing his soul). If nothing else, we'll be visiting each other, so I can drag him along to events.

move out and draw fire

Happy Chanukah, Bitches! And this year, Chanukah coincides with the Aztec 5 days of bad at the end of the year. FWIW.

Our Christmas wasn't bad. The landlord's daughter had her annual Xmas orgy, or at least tried to, but her parents came home around midnight, threw everyone out, turned off the thumping music, and opened all the windows to let the smoke out. So no police called this year, and we didn't have to disconnect the power. OTOH, while the thumping music stopped, they then proceeded to scream at each other for about an hour. Christmas with the family.

Mal made out like a bandit, of course, although after weeks of being told to not mess with the packages, he was deeply suspicious when we encouraged him to open some. Then he saw the video camera, realized it was a sting operation, melted down, clambered up Robert and hid in his neck, howling.

Boxing Day, I got the Death Cold, and Mallory started pulling up (in his crib, on the hearths, on the wine rack) and climbing stairs.
