Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
If I could, I'd send Paulie Walnuts to their houses. You'd...get your money. "Mr.{Drew} is not gonna have this problem again, is he?"
"No, no, God, no. And where are you taking my dog?"
And probably a very sweet apology.
Some Christmas, I want a Paulie Walnuts.
Not for porn, for enforcement.
(I'm feeling the Sopranos love again cause I watched "College" yesterday which is on my Top Twenty Brilliant TV Hours EVAR list and not only because it features that most perfect malapropism "knight in white satin armor." I'm a sucker for Tony and Mead cause of all my Dad Issues and shit. And, yet, TS hurts people...I think that's deep.)
kicks ND's clients. just 'cause . they won't learn anyway. and the post office people that didn't tell Jessica the truth.
DH and I took a long walk in the city and just talked. It was fun, we don't get as much of that as we used to. then we came home and fixed the washing machine . whee. But it was something we could fix, so we will leave it as an unenthusiastic whee. Tomorrow will be a bonless rib roast. I am thinking we need brownies. But i would also like the house just a bit cleaner...But since the only other thing that is happening other than food and presents is that Matt might get to help someone load presents into thier truck ... there is plenty of time to do things or not do things as i please...
Merry merry! I'm waiting for DH to finish showering and changing so we can go have dinner at my my folks'. After spending the night in our very own bed in our very own (rented) house! All my stuff is in one place, and it's the same place I am! Yay!
I should look for my parents' presents. I think they packed them up yesterday when we were moving stuff...
Oh, yay t! You and your stuff all in the same place, where you can close the doors against the world and have a haven again. I'm so happy for you both.
I'd like my house to be cleaner, but unless someone bought me maid service, I have accepted that it's not going to happen. I told the kids we had to at least clean up the living room so Santa wouldn't fall and break his neck while delivering their toys. They were actually pretty helpful, and are now tucked up in bed.
ya for having your own home. Now that is a christmas present, -t!
my sister(stationed in japan) made this christmas.

somehow I now need to make brownies....
Wow, the babka looks amazing. I am planning, assuming all goes well, to make raspberry and whipped cream filled cream puffs for breakfast.
Is your sister in Japan for the holiday, or did she get to come home?
Yay for house having, -t!
The nieces and I just watched the first episode of the Muppet show. I was shocked and dismayed that they had never heard of it, but now I get to be the great Auntie who "found" it for them. They were singing manamana all throughout diinner, and made me promise that we could watch more of them tomorrow.
She is there for the holidays - but she has been in the navy awhile and has spent a lot of holidays without us. email makes a lot of difference - I was able to email her ( and actually the whole family) when Santa ( acc'ding to the Norad sight) had been thru Japan. Most of the christmas ortaments on our the tree are gifts from her. so I have lots of carp from Japan, the Oprea house from australia, and a really ugly plastic seahorse from a place a forgot. ( moravia? ) . When she was last in Japan Buffy and Angel were still on the air. So she was getting tapes from home. And she got introduced to Firefly that way.
Oh, awesome! You are a good auntie. I need to collect that show some day.
Beth, it sounds like fun, decorations from everywhere.
The babies are asleep, all the presents are wrapped, labeled and put under the tree. I think I'm going to watch a movie and go to bed.
Merriest of Christmases, happiest of Hanukkahs, glorious holidays, and blessings to everyone here.
