I have no idea what to cook tomorrow.
I am afeared of whole chickens and don't feel like tackling a turkey. I don't know how to cook roasts and fish seems, well, too Norwegian for an Irish man and a German lady.
Maybe we'll have Christmas Tacos.
Any siggestions?
{{{juliana}}} and Daniel, shit. I have no words.
Aimee, if you have a big enough crock pot, you just lump the whole chicken into it, sprinkle with garlic, pepper, salt and cinnamon. Cook on low for about six hours, maybe a bit longer if it isn't thawed. Easy as (eating) pie.
Alternatively, pork roast smothered in apples and onions which have been sauteed in red wine.
That's a possibilty.
I am flakey with the Christmas food this year.
What are you planning? Just dinner at home with the four eating machines?
MM, Punk, Ollie, Elliott. Okay, it's not like all the cat does is eat, but it's not like he does much else around the house either, being, you know, cat.
A Holiday wish for the Buffistas, and all the asshat bossistas etc...
Peace On Earth: Death to Our Enemies.
I had never heard of either the nuts being called that, or of Eenie Meenie Miney Moe having anything other than a tiger in it. Huh.
See, tiger was a surprising new variation for me. I learned it in the Brownies, and it was "catch a brownie by the toe". Although at school, it was "catch a baby by the toe" instead. I didn't realise that there were more offensive versions out there, but it doesn't come as a surprise.
Fay, I am so impressed by the llama-juggling. Know anyone who does... er... juggles... camels? It could be an act. Vegas, baby.
thinks
Hmm. No. But I understand that some people juggle geese...
Aimee, I wish I had an easy-to-cook suggestion! (Although I think that Tacos would be fantastic, actually.)
Happy Thing #1 - we have just had Christmas Dinner. Even though it's Christmas Eve here. It was
yummy.
Happy Thing #2 - turns out that the complete boxed sets of Seasons 1 and 2 of
Farscape,
that I bid for on e-bay in the Summer and left money for with my Dad? DID get delivered after all. So now I have lots of
Farscape-y
goodness to look forward to. Yay for that!

Hec, I
have
been gradually downloading songs from Buffistarawk, although I've not downloaded all the JazzyFay ones yet. (Got seduced by some of your Halloween and Christmas things too, y'see...) They're all fabulous, and the Jazzy stuff is
fabulous.
But gmail seems to have taken umbrage over the whole business, or something. Can't access the account. Grr. Argh.
