I dunno. It was at Kohl's. We also got a 22 inch rolly (bigger than my pink or Lori's green one) for Ireland!

Also, one of our blinky glasses cracked. am sad.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Buffalo was like four losses in a row.
Definitely Buffalo then. Also it was New York, so Buffalo.

Oh, just looked at the tv guide and Jake Plummer, the QB for the Broncos, was the QB ("The Snake") when I was at ASU. Which is when I was dating Buffalo Tom (ewwww, Silence of the Lambs just ruined that for me.). See? On topic!

I think his last name was Taylor. Something non-descript. Tom's. Jake's is obviously Plummer.

What is even happening?

Yes, but don't ask me for specifics. I was impressed with myself when I knew which coast it was on.

Heh. I bet you know more about the geography of American cities than I do of Irish cities. I only asked, because I live just a little north of Boston.

Huh. I was remembering the two losses. I sort of dated a guy from there for a bit. It was a really long time ago.

The losses were in '97 (Ben's first birthday) and '86 (a night I wish I could have watched from the hall rather than lived, and not because of the blasted football game).

Unless it was Buffalo. Might have been Buffalo.

This was obviously one of those important relationships where you kiss a stranger at midnight on NYE and then date for a few months. I know his birthday was April 1 but I can't recall his last name.

Ah yes, I remember it well.

Oh, and it was Buffalo.

Cass, you're making me incredibly silly. I think I may be punch drunk.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Perkins, there is NOT a monkey show on TV, that is just silly.

There should be, though.

Kat, when do you leave on your Ireland trip?

Art Crawl!!!

I slept 'til 10:30 today! And ran errands! And it was warm enough to not need a coat!

People who were worried that tomorrow's playoff game would only impact 24 in the Chicago area -- is that because they are only showing that particular playoff to Chicago or Carolina hometown folks? Nobody who doesn't have a hometown team playing in the playoffs is forced to watch?

Because, I don't know, that seems unlikely to me. I can see where it might not bother people west of the Central time zone though.

What's Havanese?

We watched some of the pre dog dogshow. The one named Ben Low was ADORABLE and overcame my general distaste for small dogs.
