It's actually snowing here. Not much, but it is. And hellishly windy. So much so that I was wrestling to keep my grocery cart stationary as I unloaded.

I really really like the idea of a roomba. Just with my set up and the pricetag on it, I can't justify it as an experiment. My regular vacuums don't cost that much together. And I don't hate vacuuming. I find it satisfying.

Besides, if Mister Kitty decided to sit on it (they are both furry heat seeking missiles, but he's 16-17 lbs of missile) I'm afraid he'd burn out motors. And he doesn't run from the vacuum.

I have koolaid freckles on my hand. Oops.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aha! A clue in the "Who moved my cheese?" mystery!

Heh.

Will other people be mad at me if I'm glad it's gone down from the 50s to the 40s today? Because my apartment is heated as if it were in the 20s. It's finally not actively hot in here. My window is open.

Still no luggage.

Can anyone tell me anything about the New England Patriots? And possibly this Superbowl I've been hearing so much about? And if it could be as dumbed down as possible, that'd be great.

What is even happening?

What kind of anything, Jars? [link]

They play American style Football in the NFL (national football league). Their home stadium is located in Foxboro, Massachusetts (which is a little south of Boston). They've made it to five Super Bowl games in the last 20 years (four since '97), and won in three (2005, 2004, 2002). Tonight, in about 20 minutes, they're playing a play-off game in Denver, Colorado against the Denver Broncos.

The Super Bowl is the championship American football game for the NFL.

Anything else? Is your boy a Patriots fan?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Also, they're one of eight teams still going in the playoffs - this weekend will winnow it down to four (one is already gone from this afternoon's game, actually); the two teams that win next weekend will then go on to the Superbowl.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The team's quarterback appeared on SNL in his underwear last year. That's all I've got.

Is your boy a Patriots fan?

Yup. And I'm always making him watch rugby, so I thought I'd put in the effort. He's just run home to listen to tonight's game on the radio.

Thanks for the info; it's just the kind of thing I wanted.

Is he from the Boston area?

The team's quarterback appeared on SNL in his underwear last year.

And this will undoubtedly be the one fact I can actually remember.

Is he from the Boston area?

Yes, but don't ask me for specifics. I was impressed with myself when I knew which coast it was on.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Can anyone tell me anything about the New England Patriots?

They need to lose! (Because if they don't and Indy manages to win tomorrow, that's who they'd have to play, and the Pats and Indianapolis have a *history*.)

Go Colts!

Hee. Edited to note that I'm clearly not being helpful here.
