the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

my brain started writing a Batverse Lord King Bad Fic, an Elseworld requiring that I hit Every. Single. Regency. Cliche. Ever. and now I can't think of anything else, while occasionally fighting off the urge to fact check.

I'm trying to decide just how many characters I can work into this, given that the plot really only requires about four. If I start writing J'onn as a French aristocrat in exile, please shoot me.

Ahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I have a low tolerance for stupidity today, and an even lower standard for what constitutes stupidity.

It's Friday the 13th and there's a full moon tonight. The Stupid People and the Freaky People are out in full force.

CURSES.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

There was inane radio chatter this morning by two DJs interviewing a woman who got married on a Friday 13th to a guy she met on Sept. 11 (2004). Spooooooky. So I guess these morons are going to cower in their homes behind drawn curtains on the anniversary of the date every year, since any meeting or event on that day is forever cursed. @@

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A pox on passive aggressiveness.

No, really.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr

Is it Rev. Dr. or Dr. Rev? Which goes first? And not, Mr. King specifically, but in general.

I'll join the gronk.

I've been facilitating orientations all week for our new adjunct faculty. So, so tired of smiling and answering questions. So, so tired of professors rolling into a 4:00 pm meeting at 6:30 because they were looking for cumin at the supermarket. So, so tired of people who cannot read a syllabus. I'm just gonna not talk to ridiculous people for the next little while.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Pat Robertson needs to go into exile to a region of Earth that is secluded from the outside world.

That is the only thing that would satify me at this point.

I've always heard it the Reverend Dr. MLK. Don't know if it's right, though.

ETA: Aimee! I know. So sad. But I think I didn't post my imminent presence in the right place. Since I don't F2F, I never think to post anything in that thread.
