After three days of my trying to track down someone on this stupid project I was supposed to start, she has replied, and oops! They found someone else to do it! Sorry about the miscommunication!
grrrrr.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

My most recent favourite miscommunication was verifying something with a co-worker right before the meeting started, and then having them contradict me when I assert it during the meeting. Look, I don't care about the fact being right or wrong, but you just called me out in front of my boss and other higher ups.
Grr.
There are ways to do that that don't leave me flapping in the wind. Really. That wasn't one of them. And I've been so pointed about never doing the same.
Gronk?
Your krav student? Nutcase. Annoying, too.
It occurs to me that while I've slammed on the breaks many a time, I don't think I've ever activated the ABS. Or if I have, it doesn't chatter. Anyway.
Also? I don't like driving in fog.
Watasenia possesses numerous (~800), minute dermal light organs (photophores) on its ventral side. Other organs are scattered over the head, funnel, mantle, and arms, but none is found on its dorsal side. There are five prominent organs beneath the lower margin of each eye. They all emit a bluish light. A cluster of three tiny black-colored organs (<l mm diam) is located at the tip of each of the fourth pair of arms. They emit brilliant flashes of light which are clearly visible to the unaided eye even in a lighted room. Some of the flashes have a cadence resembling that of a terrestrial firefly flashing at night, and thus the squid is known in Japan as the "firefly squid" or "hotaru-ika."
x-posted to Firefly, just to confuse....
Gronk?
I'm 99% sure that if you don't know if you're gronked or not, you most certainly are.

Maybe more coffee help? Yes, coffee. Coffee good.
...am not convinced am spelling 'coffee' correctly. Bad sign?

That depends if you're looking for a sign that you're gronked or not. If you are, than it's a good sign.
I am not gronked for the first time this week - before last night, I think I had a total of 6 hours sleep since Monday - but still fighting off an annoying little bug.
I'm surely gronked. Thank the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that I don't have to go to work on Monday. Every single day of this week has been a great struggle to get out of bed.
Howdy, folks.
