Ok, I've just had the THIRD unsolicited and random (not talking about politics or my lack of career progression or anything) suggestion I go into politics in a week (this time in email.) WTF? I suspect I just got scammed by a guy looking for gas money. But he was genial, well-spoken, not skanky-looking, explained he was working late doing tiling at the elementary school and locked himself out and didn't have enough cash to fill the tank on his car. He showed me his tool belt and his very large key ring.
So, what the hell. I gave him $10 and told him if he was scamming me, karma would get him.
