Worms. I hate worms. Cans of them, everywhere. And me with the can opener. Grr.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've had an epidural, which from what I remember of birthing class, is similar.

That takes away the sensation--does it take away mobility? I'm thinking they can't do that to me, although they won't allow me to drive myself home.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

However, I'm realizing I could walk across the street to McDonnalds and get a hot fudge sundae.

...and I could go smoke.

Woo! t runs out into the inexplicable sunshine

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Mine did take away mobility. Although, I have heard of a "walking epdural" (I think Plei had one). But I remember once they stopped the flow of medicine into my spine, the mobility came back pretty quickly.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

eta: freaky death-by-birds x-post.

When the Maoris arrived in New Zealand, there was an eagle living there (Haast's eagle) which was big enough to hunt children, and quite possibly adults too.

I get asked for ID all the time. In fact, there are certain stores here, Hustler, for example, where the store policy is ID must be shown with every credit card purchase.

My visit to the Hustler superstore with ND and DebetEsse is my favourite LA story.

Or ita's nerve block, for that matter.

Neither. Just a policy thing that I thought had died its death 5 years ago but has since come up again.

whyfor the nerve block?

You know, the pain. They're going to hit up the occipital nerve. Right before the brown belt test...
