I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

If I were there, I'd ding him simply based on what Ted Kennedy brought up in questioning yesterday. When he was up before that same committee 10 or so years ago (presumably for confimation of his current position), he said under oath that he'd recuse himself from any cases having to do with 3 or 4 companies that he named by name. But Kennedy listed a case where according to what he pledged, he should have recused himself. But he didn't. Alito responded that he had nothing to gain monetarily from that case, blah blah blah. Well, he said under oath that he'd recuse himself from any case having to do with that company, not just ones where he thought he'd stand to gain.

He perjured himself.

Plus if he went back on what he pledged to the committee then, what's to say he's not bullshitting in his answers now?

GONG!

Trust my rage

He perjured himself.

Perjury is the other way around (when you do/don't do something and say otherwise).

Trust my rage

Thank you, Ellie, for making my point twice.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Tom, the only thing I can think would be that due to House's problem with carrying, it would be harder to navigate the "do it yourself"-ness of the train.

Either that, or it's hospital policy.

TB, nu-uh. I'm...typing...in class. Hate.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Did someone post this?

Balderdash and Piffle, a six part BBC series that looks at our fascination with words and the stories behind them, and was made in collaboration with the Oxford English Dictionary

Sorry. I realized after I posted that I was using the word incorrectly. However, I still feel it's serious and if I were on the committee, he'd be out just because of that.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So the fucktards at Fox scheduling have done it again and are moving BONES to 9pm on Weds. I expect them to screw with the space/time continuium and find a way to also show 24 and HOUSE on at the same time since it seems 9pm on Weds. is THE ONLY TIME WE CAN HAVE TELEVISION SHOWS ON!!!!!

Ahem.

This one isn't a big loss to me, but I did enjoy it as a lead-in to HOUSE. However, between LOST and VM it's not going to be a feasible anymore outside of re-runs.

Vortex, I was just watching that a few nights ago! It's a great show. Mostly etymology, which is always fun, but interspersed with spots of celebrities talking about their favourite word beginning with whichever letter the show is dealing with that week.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

9 pm Wednesday always seems to get like that. At one point I was watching West Wing, taping the OC and downloading Angel. All at Wednesday 9 pm.

I have less of a problem, as I don't get UPN and have to wait for DVD's (my downloading situation has changed) for Veronica Mars
