The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Can't you get someone to bring you food to your chair, msbelle?

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm shocked at myself...so much killing and I haven't weighed in. I think Bunk on The Wire tried to kill a mouse with his police revolver once. He was very drunk and I don't think he got it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

RIP, Richard Pryor

David Boreanaz is getting Punk'd. Supposedly his wife cut her mouth on broken glass in her salad. He was so pissed at the waiter.

I liked that one. I like when you can tell they are freaking out, but they don't act badly.

There's a whole lot of Newcomb College and Tulane College tradition that they're getting rid of there.

That's a shame. And it is all the individual things that make a big disaster, you know?

I way overslept this morning, which turned out to be awesome. I still got to my noon meeting on time, AND got an extra hour of sleep. So it's all good.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That obit understates Richard Pryor's importance, I think. I think he's the greatest standup who ever lived, and one of the great comics in any medium. Absolute genius in his ability to dig into the pain of the human comedy, and utterly gifted at physical comedy/acting to express everything from a cheetah to a heart attack.

Chorelike shopping complete. Gift shopping tomorrow.

On a whim, I picked up some cheapy wet'n wild liquid eyeliner. No idea what prompted this. Ok, I do, I couldn't find the purply raisin pencil eyeliner. But OMG, this stuff is awesome (at least in application. No idea of staying power.)

Awesome, thanks. I'm pretty sure I gave him either the Day My Butt Went Psycho or Encyclopedia Brown last year, if not both. I rule!
