Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I could not be out that much money, tommyrot-- that is ridiculous.

WRT perms, I think it is part of becoming attached to what was fashionable when you were a certain age, and not letting go. Although sometimes I wonder what people are thinking when they look in the mirror. When I was in high school, one of my very favorite teachers, who was part Native American, got blonde "frost and tip" highlights on her black hair. As you can imagine this looked horrible. I sort of said nothing, because I assumed she was aware of the badness (not that I could have told her it was bad, but I didn't say it looked nice either). And then she did the same the next year, for summer. Oh-- it was bad.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, Comcast says that they have to wait for the dispute of the charge to come from Visa, and that this normally takes 3 to 4 weeks. They're gonna try to put a rush on it, so it might only take 10-14 days.

Yeah. I only get paid once a month, so I'll be broke for the next three weeks.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I thought you were advocating not wearing underwear, either! That's a little too... slutty? forward?

If he discovers that you’re not wearing underwear, it’s too late.

I think I will go with: nice black pants and rather low-cut, clingy mauve top.

That says: I’ll make out with you on the couch, but I’m not staying. Very good.

Mummified body found in front of TV

CINCINNATI, Ohio (AP) -- The mummified body of a woman who didn't want to be buried was found in a chair in front of her television set 2 1/2 years after her death, authorities said.

Johannas Pope had told her live-in caregiver that she didn't want to be buried and planned on returning after she died, Hamilton County Coroner O'Dell Owens said Monday.

Pope died in August 2003 at age 61. Her body was found last week in the upstairs of her home on a quiet street.

Some family members continued to live downstairs, authorities said. No one answered the doorbell at Pope's home Monday afternoon.

It could take weeks to determine Pope's cause of death because little organ tissue was available for testing, Owens said.

An air conditioner had been left running upstairs, and that allowed the body to slowly mummify, he said. The machine apparently stopped working about a month ago, and the body began to smell.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

tommyrot, that's BULLSHIT. If you bounced a check to them they and the bank would be taking their penalties right the feck away.

hip deep in pie

tommyrot, have you been on Visa from your end? Can't you stop payment? That would hustle the Comcast butts, I bet.

Congrats to Dana on her raise and to Flea on her new armadillo.

I am working on a stupid committee document! I hate it. And some fucker keeps accidentally turning off the lights.

How did the body get mummified? And I am assuming that would reduce the smell, so that her relatives living downstairs weren't driven out of the house.
