I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

There is a rumor that the miners who died gave their oxygen to the miner who survived because he was younger and had small children.

I first saw that rumor in a statement from... the survivor's father, I think? He said that he had absolutely no evidence, but that he wouldn't be surprised if that had happened. I suspect that's still the case.

Dang. I'm going to have to work out my differences with BitTorrent and see if I can nab that.

I'm a firm believer in BitTornado. I've tried other clients and always come back.

I need to get it working on my Mac. I have a PC, but don't like using it. But for some reason Azureus always farts in my face about ports.

I dunno about Mac. But BitTornado has worked great for me on both PC and Linux.
