Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I know lots and lots of boring facts about the phone system. I'm very useful in ending conversations or parties.

I do that with boring facts about the electric system.

I go the morbid and creepifying route with factoids about spontaneous human combustion.

I'd like to report that I quite enjoyed The Book of Daniel. So is the AFA's (or whoever it is that is boycotting the show) major beef the depiction of Jesus? I don't remember JoA raising those particular hackles. And (show quality aside) did anyone care about the devil spawn as protagonist on Point Pleasant?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I turned it off about 30 minutes in--too many crises for one man for my tastes!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

It was rather soapy, IMO. Desperate Housewives, now with added Jesus!

I thought a lot of it was just mean-spirited (I didn't get a lot of a sense of fondness between the siblings , for example), and, for a first two episodes, that was a lot of drama .

Zipping in to say that I put up some recent Clara (and one Big Brother) pictures here. B. took the profile shot.

We're all well. C. is rolling! over! onto her tummy and then gets frustrated when she can't roll back. But so far she's a very mellow and smiley baby, and we feel very lucky.

Art Crawl!!!

I thought the siblings -- well Daniel's kids seemed very fond of each other in a teasing kind of way.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

There must be a term for people who make a few arguments, then back out (go silent) before the thing is resolved.

I call it my "History will vindicate me" stance. Because it sounds better than my "It's like talking to styrofoam" stance. I had cause to use it today.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Little Clara! And is it my imagination, or does B look a LOT like you, Fiona? Cuteheads.

There's one in Santa Monica where you can get fondled by...dammit, I don't remember. Not Billy Zane. Someone else.

Well, I'll have to get right on that, then.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Missed Book of Daniel in favor of fangirlling Sci-Fi Friday... which did rock.

Besides, I did my time with Joan of Arcadia, so that should count for something, right?

Trust my rage

I love Clara's profile shot. I love baby noses!
