Nilly, I can't sing or play an instrument. Never had musical lessons.

I knew as I was typing that I was doing something messy, but the caps and lowercase are so different in my head I couldn't work out what. Sorry! No hateration from me in your direction, rest assured.
No apologies necessary. Just an eep! moment, and I prefer the lowercase "sj" anyway.
I used to love to roller skate (old four-wheelers) but the heavy skates screwed up my knees because I couldn't do the turns right. My favorite childhood activity was taking the dog and going for very long walks in the hills. Didn't do a lot of wading in the creeks because of snakes.
I took ice-skating lessons for 2+ years, but recently discovered that it's something you have to do regularly to keep the knack.
See I thought skating was a lot like riding a bicycle. Except for the stopping part, which was always a bit challenging.
I can't sing or play an instrument. Never had musical lessons.
Me neither! I just can't speak "music", though I love the sound of the language.
OK, now I really am off. Bye!
Flute and I can't carry a tune in a bucket.
I used to play flute, can still sing, can kind of read music, although not sight-sing anymore.
OMG, I want your father. Mine had us camped out on the lawn for lessons. Swimming's already been covered -- then there was tennis. That he was serious about.
Yeah, not so much. My family doesn't tend to be Physical Activity oriented.
Like, can you ride a bike?
Yes, I even own one at the moment. I love cycling. It's like the faster I go the more behind I leave all the tsuris in my life.
Do a cartwheel?
Never learned how.
Catch, throw, hit a ball?
Lousy depth perception and hand-eye co-ordination. I can't do anything related to hitting, catching, or throwing a ball. Not even tennis.
Jump rope?
All the time as a kid. Probably still could with a little warmup.
Skate?
Roller. If I'd had access to an ice rink I would have been in heaven.
Any other skill I didn't mention?
I was never good at team efforts, and had no opportunities to excel, or even to make an effort, at individual sports. I've always been exceedingly loose-jointed, so sprains (ankles, elbows, fingers) and dislocations (both knees, both shoulders) were the consequence of most physical efforts. If there had been gymnastics or tumbling opportunities for me, it would have strengthened my joints, and given me a way to participate on an individual level. I think it would have helped me gain self-confidence-- maybe even enough to try to participate in team sports.
I had access to a municipal pool in summer, and one set of swimming lessons when I was 7. I learned to put my face in the water, and not to be afraid of water. I didn't learn adequate propulsion technique, and being in the water was always more about fun than performance. If I could perfect breathing, I'd never come out of the water.
I can jump rope, ride a bike, all the ball-related stuff (although hitting is not my speciality, and I throw like a girl, but I can toss a football much better than a baseball, with a good spiral and everything!), but cartwheels were beyond me even as a kid. As for skating, ice--definitely not; roller--old-fashioned wheel layout only (no rollerblading for me), forward motion, and I prefer being within a yard or two of the rail at the rink, or a good span of grass to fall onto when I do trip, which I will sooner or later.
Like, can you ride a bike? Do a cartwheel? Catch, throw, hit a ball? Jump rope?
Bike, yes. Cartwheel, no - to my eternal regret. Catch and throw a baseball/softball, yes (not so great with a football). Hitting, not so much. And I can swim well enough, but I can't dive. Just could never make my body do that. Don't know why. Could ice and roller skate as a kid, but the last time I was on skates as an adult... did not go well. Jump rope, yes.
Climbing things and swinging. Those were the most fun. Oh, and hanging upsidedown from the knees on the jungle gym. And flipping around one of the bars in a complete loop - so proud when I learned how to do that.
