Do you remember the line from Blazing Saddles as Hedley Lamarr is dying in front of Graumann's and spies Douglas Fairbanks' footprints? His final words were:
"How did he do such great stunts with such tiny feet?"
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Kat can't keep secrets, FYI.
John Wayne was actually tall.
Robin, i've never seen blazing saddles.
msbelle, I have no idea what you are talking about.
ooops. just proved that I skipped your post, didn't I?
OMG. See "Blazing Saddles" now!!
Could it be that shoe sizes were a little different then?
OHIO?
My brother is getting an education in football, what being in Alabama and all. He thinks they are all crazy, but that doesn't stop him from cashing in by renting himself out as tailgate security. Seriously, someone paid him $200 and all the beer he could drink to mind their setup (flatscreen tv with cable, somehow, stereo system, one of those monster gas grills) while they went to the game. And then someone else showed up to watch the stuff and gave him (wasted on him) primo tickets to that game, so he went. He says he should have scalped the tickets and stayed and watched scifi on the flatscreen.
And then there's the NASCAR people, but he gets them what with his car obsession. One of them gets him access to a track where he can race his car. He's now the ONLY person in their history to set his car aflame (just the brake pads.) He's so proud.
Kat, I encourage you gently to see Blazing Saddles. Gently, so that you don't get perverse reaction overload.
"Excuse me, while I whip this out."
"It's HEDLEY!"
I've been with
Hundreds of men
Again and again
They promise the moon
They're always
Coming and going
And going and coming
And always too soon!
Y'know, sometimes some of the photos I take are so uncreatively bad, I kinda hate putting them up on a photophile site like flickr. But I get over it. Now, sending the links to my photographer friend who who tried to get me to use her store's services (but I wanted something more universal)..now that, I feel a little worse about. OTOH, I can throw her some business next time I go camera or printer shopping.
Kat, I've never seen Blazing Saddles either. Maybe we should start a club.
