Oh, I have to find out when the Science Center is showing that. And find my work ID so I can get in extra cheap. Plus, I need to go play in the kids' workshopthingy again. I love the ball rollercoaster maze doohicky. And I can spend far too much time dorking out with the gyro-in-a-suitcase, staggering around the room.

edit: maybe I should borrow a kid this time, huh?

When I was watching part of the Tournament of Roses parade on Monday morning, they said that, traditionally, the parade is on New Years, but there's also a tradition/rule (not too sure which) that it's never on a Sunday.

Why they delayed the game until Wednesday, I don't know.

So no one knows why the game isn't on New Year's day this year?

They delayed the game because the BSC now sets the date of the championship game, not the bowls themselves. As this year's National Championship game is the Rose Bowl (it rotates), the BSC not the Rose Bowl itself decided the date.

And thus, my Ohio roots show.

Okay, question about the Graumann theater in hollywood? Do they ever have footprints that are used that don't actually belong to the actor who signed the block? I'm asking because John Wayne's footprints are smaller than my feet and yet when I look up his height and shoe size, they say he wore a size 11 boot which is NOT possible if those are indeed his footprints in the cement.

They STILL haven't shipped his mega-christmas present, which was the Megatransect books. Nat'l Geo has a small small portion of the megatransect of Africa, but this is the whole damned thing, photos, and journals. I was cranky it wouldn't be delivered by xmas because I wanted to do what we do in my family: read it first. I didn't get one book until I got on the plane because mom had to finish it first.

You have wee tiny feet. Did he have any kids?

I can't remember now, if it is BSC or NSC? I think BSC. I could go look it up.

Why do I know about football at all? Grr. I want to be able to excise it out of my brain and put, I don't know, an understanding of math instead where the football info resides.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

BCS, I think.
