I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I'm just glad ita mentioned salmon, cause now it's on the grocery list. I have couscous in the cabinet.

Thanks!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Does the hivemind have any good suggestions for men's skin care products for DH? We're looking for a system (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) for combination skin. Probably in the median price range.

sara, when they snared you in the shop, it didn't taste like ferret?

No, it did not.

it is wrong that the ferret chicken makes me laugh?

Newp. Though I'll wait until tomorrow to laugh. Has an unfortunate incident involving worshipping a toilet that I think I'll blame on the ferret chicken. God, was it only a couplefew years ago when I'd only puked once since I was a teenager? That's so done. I've inherited my dad's stomach.

I must have missed an episode of Surface (it's not that good, I just really like Nimrod) cause they KILLED HIM. Dude. Not right. But I think they know their reluctant demo because HE'S ALIVE. It's jesu-nimrod. Or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No, it did not.

Does that mean you cooked it wrong, or just being around for the whole process has left the ferret in?

As for Surface, I never watch it, so I have no idea if the unwhited portion of your post is a spoiler too, but it feels like it is.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Huh. It looks like the Trio Network ("Pop. Culture. TV.") got replaced with the Sleuth Network ("Mystery. Crime. All the time.")

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I am annoyed that TRIO is gone.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Huh. That's a total yay/boo for me. And weird because I just finished watching the Miami Vice pilot off TV Land from earlier (and it's playing right now on "Sleuth.")

Is Trio GONEgone? I noticed it was off my TiVo listings, but I figured it'd come back at another position.

Good point, ita. Fixed. Me=flaky. It was on the stupid "previously on" voiceovers that are really hamhanded.

Does that mean you cooked it wrong, or just being around for the whole process has left the ferret in?

It didn't leave anything. It FERRETED it. I'm kinda thinking bad batch if I'm being cranky, and different tastes when I'm being generous. It doesn't smell musky in the jar, but I'm not playing with it anymore. Trashed.

(I figure it wasn't the chicken, because I appear to be immune to chicken-related food poisoning that fells everyone else. And this was well cooked. Just....ferrety.)
