I'm actually not sure if you're making a reference I don't get. If you're serious, I think the recipe is from a magazine or newspaper or something, like most of my grandmothers' recipes, it would seem.

LOVE IT. Except, probably replacing it 1-1 would be too gingery for most people. Unless you get the dollar store crystallized ginger.
