The folks in the office across the hall. Not sure what they're doing, but it seems to involve tapping on a box.
I'm sure whatever I imagine will be far more interesting than the truth.
The Ramones, "It's A Long Way Back To Germany"
I'm listening to the people down the hall.
Weekend plans: Narnia tonight, followed by a late-night visit to Table Talker CharlotteJ's house to work on a Gothic ballgown. Housecleaning, cookie baking, and tree-getting tomorrow. Dickens Fair Sunday, including afternoon tea with Betsy.
The Night of the Spandex Anaconda is glorious. And now I miss Vinca Minor (not that she was ever a Buffista, just a TT'er, but I miss her anyhow, so there).
Blarg. Boss is mad at me for misunderstanding an earlier phone call. On-call doc is mad at me for interrupting her intensive care rounds twice with boss's request. Boss will call back in another 5 minutes even madder because on-call doc hasn't called him back yet. PLEASE BACK OFFA ME AND TALK TO EACH OTHER, PLEASE?
Also, Aimée is neither fat nor stupid, and could not possibly be so even if she didn't have future plans involving velvet and karaoke; the velvet and karaoke just make the not!fat and not!stupid even more decisively so.
DJ, I'm glad today is better than yesterday and that folks at work are appreciating you rightly.
Now I must go and await the next round of angry phone calls.
I hate when I fuck up identifying songs off a CD from someone else. Also when they don't give the artist names.

I have stopped listening to the voices and am now listening to the 2005 Grammy Nominees on launch.
Now I'm listening to "Holidays in the Sun" by The Sex Pistols.
You know. Just to keep everyone posted.
I need to eat something for lunch. Nothing in my apartment is appealing, nor is leaving. I may have to order something in.
Jesse I was just thinking the same thing. I am working from home because the campus closed for a snow day, which I love since it is now bright and sunny and not snowy at all outside. The only downside is no food in the house. I actually think I might go out just to crunch around in all the white stuff before it gets all nasty.
