Ok, in that case, my next step would be to say "would you just get the hell over it already?" Hey, sometimes that shit works.
Brenda, and I forget who else helped me, the package containing the 12 Days of Christmas glasses for my mother arrived in New Orleans today. She's thrilled, and they're exactly the same as the ones she lost. Thanks so much.
Now this is a headline....
Mich. Man Bowls 3rd 300th Game, Then Dies
"If he could have written a way to go out, this would be it," said Johnny D Masters, who was bowling with Lorenz.
Aw. That's good to read, Dana.
I wish I had dog advice. My brother's inlaws brought along their small yappy bitch mop dog and the HUGEST german shepard I've ever seen. He was a total baby, though. He's 2, so still a puppy, but really well behaved, if unaware he's the size of a small horse. Something about my brother makes him get all excited and start barking for play, though. That was a little annoying. And the fact that my nephew covered his face whenever the gs was in the room (tail protection.)
I've just seen the first two eps of Skating with Celebrities. Kristy Swanson is in it, which is neat b/c of the Buffy-skating thing, and Dave Coulier/Nancy Kerrigan are the Cutting Edge couple. He even has toepick problems. It's so cute.

Is this on already? When did it start?
No, DH brought home a screener. (Nice because this kind of show's much better when you can fast-forward through everything but the actual skating/singing/etc.)
They almost made me cry at krav. One of the instructors told me she mightn't let me take the brown belt test. I pleaded and pleaded and threatened tears, and she said she'll keep tabs on me for the next month.
::sigh::
Then I went to another instructor (yes, I'm that girl) and said "Please don't let them prevent me from testing!" I'm friends with both instructors, and they're both looking out for me. Just in different ways. The second instructor brought up some very good points that should mean it's entirely my decision about testing or not.
Which is good, because that's where I want it.
The thing, which really was very light at the time, has progressively made me sadder.
Email causing a crisis for the National Archives:
When President Bush leaves office after eight years, the White House is expected to turn over more than 100 million emails to the National Archives, the government body entrusted with preserving America's official recorded history.
That's a big jump from the 32 million from President Clinton's White House, but then email only came into widespread use halfway through his tenure.
The rapid adoption of electronic communications technology in the last decade has created a major crisis for the Archives. For one thing, the amount of data to be preserved has exploded in recent years, thanks to the proliferation of high-tech tools such as personal computers and wireless email devices such as BlackBerries. At the same time, technology is becoming obsolete so fast that electronic documents created today may not be legible on tomorrow's devices, the equivalent of trying to play an eight-track tape on an iPod.
