Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't think punks like me are good candidates for tough love, Jesse.

Well, crap. We came back anyway, that's something.

Freaky sushi restaurant in the Santa Monica airport -- Perkins and I used to go there a fair amount.

I looked it up. Cool.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Why am I here?

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Why am I here?

Because everybody knows your name?

My internet and internal network connections have been coming and going for the past two hours. I'm asking myself the same thing.

Because everybody knows your name?

That's just not true.

I want the lurkers to send me supportive email. I feel as though I need some feedback. Am I entertaining you sufficiently?

I'm not as combative as I once was. Do you miss that?

Would you like to see me have a kerfuffle with any one of the following people?:

a) shrift
b) ita
c) Hec
d) lurker's choice

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I vote c).

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Because everybody knows your name?

That's just not true.

They're always glad ya ca-a-ame?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Darn--Berghoff's is closing in February! Lots of history in that building: open for over 100 years, Liquor License No. 1 (the first granted after Prohibition), and a damn fine beer-batter fried chicken that I really like.
