Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

In what police believe was a holiday prank...

Or possibly an annual review?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You didn't... go to the Precious Moments Chapel... did you?

Bien sur!

I didn't however, go inside.

Good to hear about the eye! You should go beat someone up, work off that steam.

And in complete British mystery fashion, it hasn't been said explicitly.

That makes me feel better. Merely stupid, instead of inattentive and stupid.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Well, while I did catch the money thing, I missed why the good not-quite-a-doctor killed the second guy . Which, as plot points go, wasn't minor. I can't figure out how far back I'd have to go to catch it either. So I am just watching through to the end.

I wish I remembered enough to explain it to you, Cass. But I've recycled those neurons.

I am both twitchy and sleepy. And having one of the concussion headaches, like a punishment for me being cocky. Ah, well. It's so much better than it used to be, even if I'm nowhere near on my game.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I didn't however, go inside.

Lots of people looked at me funny, because I had long hair (in a ponytail) and a conservative brown leather jacket.

Wankers.

(I have never in my life seen so many people dressed in pastels in one place before.)

You should go beat someone up, work off that steam.

Totally - I bet that'd work.

A while back, I was in line at the drug store. There was one guy ahead of me. I was just looking at him, and suddenly I thought, "You know, it'd be fun to punch someone in the face." Not in any malicious or angry sort of way - just comtemplating the fun of it.

I admit, I'd have gone inside, but I showed up as it was closing, and my hotel was west of there, and it really wasn't worth breaking my no-backtracking rule for.

OMG, Caroma was right! I am in a state of 'roid rage--I just don't need to take drugs to get there.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Damnit. Mile High made me feel bad for Scuzzy Pilot guy. It's not supposed to do that!

Oh, this was before the 'roids. If it'd happened now... I imagine my eyes would be narrower.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Oh, the fun and scariness that is the PM Chapel complex. I have a picture of myself at that very same fountain. Didn't go inside either, but made my mother drive with me a few miles out of our way early one morning just for the picture. I don't think the buildings were even open yet.

FYI, if anyone finds themselves having to go there. There is a lovely B&B very nearby in an old schoolhouse. I highly recommend it.

Obviously I did too. I followed the background reasoning, just missed the initial bit. Like having detailed driving instructions to someone's house but not knowing what continent to start on. And I am content to while away figuring out just the details and having no idea where I really am.

I hope the twitchy passes as does the headache.
