Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Pandora.com tells you why it's playing you each selection.

You Wear It Well by Debarge?

Based on what you've told us so far, we're playing this track because it features a subtle use of vocal harmony, mild rhythmic syncopation, extensive vamping, a smooth male lead vocalist and prominent synth drums.

On the other hand, it played me No Cars Go by Arcade Fine

because it features basic rock song structures, a subtle use of vocal harmony, mild rhythmic syncopation, mixed acousitc and electric instrumentation and major key tonality.

And that didn't work out as well.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh, I should try Pandora. I wonder if it would tell me, "...we're playing this track because you like pretentious crap"

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You mean you don't hack up hairballs in fits of boredom?

YOU PROMISED NOT TO TELL.

I'm going to cry now.

It played my Housequake, and I asked why. It gave me an answer kinda like the ones above when all I was really expecting was "Because you started this whole thing with Prince, idiot!"

It seems it has come to me seeking abuse from web applications. Is this what web 2.0 has to offer?

Is this what web 2.0 has to offer?

I hear it has 63.785% more abuse.

Hey, a while ago, someone posted a link to Manamana from the Muppet show. Does anyone remember who that was or where it was posted?

My younger niece loved it too. She didn't care for a lot of the show, but we kept singing it to each other all weekend.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This may be better suited to Tech, but do any NYCistas have TWC's digital phone service? I did the math, and I'd save about $25/month switching to their phone/internet/cable package thingy (right now just the phone's separate). I'm just wondering what the sound quality's like. (Vonage *sucked* in our home, but my office uses VoIP now, and the calls sound great.)
