'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Slither could only be cooler if it was about giant snails.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

My view is that the purpose of winter is to enhance the enjoyment of dark ales. In this it succeeds admirably. Thus making it not so bad.

So true.

I'll keep an eye out. I got absolutely no mail yesterday, which was kind of weird.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe they're all dead. Maybe the apocalypse has happened.

Finally! People at work have started replying to my emails. Slackers.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I must stop wearing sweaters on weekdays. It is too damn hot on the subway AND in my office. I can just suffer a little bit of cold and wear one less layer.

I wear a wrap under my (TWO!) coat(s) for my outside commute on office days.

This winter and last winter's are a little more bitter than previous ones. Looks like SF is a good bet for me. I like winter, I'll miss it, but I think a change will do me good.

Always Anti-fascist!

I feel just as trapped inside by our summers except that nothing actually blocks the roads.

Short some impossible things to believe before breakfast?

I think I've become mushmouthed since the concussion. People are way too often unable to understand what I said. Repeating myself twice? What's up with that? It's made me very self conscious about my enunciation.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The Federal Communications Commission has warned the nation's two leading cable TV companies that unwanted conditions could be imposed on their proposed acquisition of a rival if they do not agree to curb the proliferation of sexually explicit programming, according to company sources.

Um... um... um... but the FCC has no regulatory authority over cable television.

Bastards.

eta: The FCC has no regulatory authority regarding cable TV content. But they regulate other stuff, so they're using that as a threat....
