Southwest is still claiming my flight is on time, but the plane isn't here yet, and we leave in under half an hour. Somehow, I disbelieve them.
Woot. We have plane!

Okay, the kitchen is sort of cleaned and the stove seems undamaged from both the fire and the water. I'll have the gas company check it out though.
I already need to have them check the pilot light on my heater which is balking at lighting. No way am I messing with anything explosive.
I have a (very enclosed) scented candle burning which is making it less acrid. My robe and hair still reek so I am going to take a shower now.
That was way more stressful than I wanted to think about at the time. I was heating up a tortilla on an open flame, got distracted by the cat, realized I really should just change the cat box and freaking turned away to take it to the trash outside. I just changed my focus. Went from walking back in to running when the smoke alarm started wailing.
Shower, cup of tea (water heated in the microwave, thank you very much) and throw in a load of laundry to desmoke my robe.
Plei, gimme a sec and I'll upload for you.
Kat? you around?
Yes. Just back from REI. Lori bought a new bike using some gift cards. Fun!
My parents gave Lillian one of those doorway bouncer things, which turned out to not work at either place we were Christmassing at, so we didn't have a chance to test it until this morning (we were running around from about 8am to 12:30am yesterday).
It turns out to be a lot of fun to put the baby in the bouncer thing and play Dancing Queen cranked up loud.
My baby adored calypso. (Don't tell ita, but it was sung by Sebastian the Crab.)

Emmett loved that thing. I don't think I've ever seen him happier in his whole life than the first time we put him in the doorway bouncer.
RE: Mile High -- forget this week! I'm all worried about the promo - they wouldn't really kill Jase, would they ?
Kat, thanks!
Plei! Your daughter is so gorgeous. Also I love the bouncy chair, although it is giving Isaac a false impression that he can actually stand up.
