I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I watched a History Channel special about DisneyWorld, and the construction thereof -- lots of behind-the-scene details. I refrained from telling my Mom that I'm acquainted with an actual Imagineer. :-)

Our wings are not tired

I'm planning to watch that at 8PM.

STUFF!

Most importantly, wrapped stuff.

The coolest thing I saw opened today (not by me) was a DVD-ROM set of The New Yorker from 1925-2005. Every single page. Plus a book of highlights.

I mean, where do you start with that? Apparently they provide some reading lists. There will be borrowing. Oh, yes. There will.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I got the complete Calvin & Hobbes. It can either be used as a book or a piece of furniture.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I did go to see Casanova, and it's a silly piece of fun with more lines I wish I remembered. It's great to see Heath Ledger play light after this morning, although he's an excellent excellent crier. Who knew? Also learnt that Casanova is the Dread Pirate Roberts. Which makes sense, really.

Versatility is a good thing.

I should go to sleep, but I'm too hopped up on sugar. There's probably a steep crash in my near future, though.

ita, we had all those same thoughts after seeing Casanova, too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

We had the Dread Pirate Casanova vibe so badly that I had to go home and wikipedia Casanova. To see if he was a real person.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hmm. Maybe I'll have to add Casanova to my to be seen list.

We seem to have missed a lot of the Bigfoot talk though. Maybe we should start some.
