Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Man. I have so many things to do today. I let my housework slide to the point of my entire bathroom stained purple and one big catbox and my kicthen floor feeling like a movie theatre floor.

All I've managed to do is get my car washed and feed Polgara's cats.

I picked up stuff to give myself a facial, manicure, and pedicure, but won't do that until I've done the three loads of laundry piled up, scrubbed the fuck out of the bathroom and kitchen, and wrap my nephew's gifts.

Yeah, I know. I'm late. But he's not quite two yet and doesn't know the difference between xmas, chanukah, and the color blue.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He knows blue. He just doesn't know how to talk about blue. You're probably good on the non-secular holiday differentiation though.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Today I have made chocolate covered cherries, ganache for the chocolate figs, finished my shopping, and put my kid in a fauxhawk, seeing as it's one of the last chances to do so before the back and sides are too long to make it look nifty.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

OMG. Too cute.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Ah. When you described it, I thought "shortbread", too. And you're right about the layer thing. That's kind of the ideal in American pie pastry.

Wow, I want to chain Plei to my kitchen. And Plei, how did I go for the months I did when b.org first opened not knowing you were a mum? Huh.

hip deep in pie

Ded from cute.

I think I am hitting my family limit. I ended up being volunteered by my nephew to help my sister to decorate her tree this year. By helping, it means that I put the tree together and decorated it while my sister sat around chatting with our nephew.

I also took my nephew to see "Yours, Mine and Ours" this afternoon with my other sister. My other sister talked all through the movie, refused to get snacks (I was treating), then got pissy when I said that she should have gotten her own when she wanted a fourth handful of my M&Ms.

How many more days until I go home?
