Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

best gift I am giving - this year I can't say Because DH lurks. But it makes me laugh and it is useful and practical. However, DH sent an eletric guitar and small amp to his nephew - this will make his nephew very happy. Dh gets the credit, but it is the best gift.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I am playing battleon.com, watching Ocean's 11, and debating whether or not to order Chinese food. I think I'll wait until Z is back from the mall to decide that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You should have bought apple pies.

Nope. They don't sell Mr. Kipling's pies here (I think anywhere in the US) anymore. Off-brand apple pies--ick. However, there are some nice alternate mince pies out there. There's a Cointreau one I really want.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm kicking myself because I decided to check my suitcase in order to save myself some hassle while I wait and wait and wait for my plane, but I forgot that all of my dvds were in the suitcase.

eta:

At all? I thought that was just temporary.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett and I are back from a bike ride in the Panhandle. JZ is out at the grocery store getting stuff. Pizza is ordered.

I got JZ a cool last minute impulse buy! Huzzah. Emmett got a Mega Gir among his other stuff. My sister sent a huge box of presents (mostly Emmett's). I wish I remembered she always did that because between that, and me and his Mom and various other relatives - he really gets too much.

Maybe I should save stuff for February and the blahs.
