Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

I think I might not fix it. I'm not sure it's worth it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

While I found the bathing suit, I never did leave for PA. However, I'm fully packed, including the suit -- except for knitting, laptop, and Xmas gifts. I figure I can add the last few bits tonight and be ready to take off extraordinarily early tomorrow....

Frank -- you know what year and make my stolen car was? Yep, 1994 Honda Civic. Like I said, my sincerest sympathies!

Herding cats for fun

Happy for tommyrot having the less-bad option. Sad because I have a broken washing machine, a cracked windshield, and a spot on the roof that started leaking again in spite of this summer's heroic fixing effort. Ah well, 'tis only financial inconvenience and not me health.

Always Anti-fascist!

I gave the Buffistas my favorite gift this year. Three cars have been stolen out front of this condo in the almost six years I have been here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

One of my neighbours stopped me this morning to tell me another neighbour was found dead earlier this week, to put my mind at rest if I'd seen a lot of police activity.

I think that she really just wanted something to talk to me about, some reason to introduce herself. The dead neighbour was an elderly lady, whose accumulating papers (3 days worth) made another neighbour suspicious.

There's really nothing to say when someone you don't know tells you about the natural and timely death of someone you've never seen. I thanked her, which sounded weird as I said it.

That would be weird, ita. I'm surprised it hasn't happened to me yet, but it hasn't.
