Gah, Frank, what a shitty, shitty thing to have happened to you! I hope you're able to get in touch with someone who can advise you on what to do next.

Frank, that sucks!!!
the Daily Show is keeping it close to home in hiring new correspondents. First Rob Coddry's brother, now Samantha Bee's husband.
Is he covering for her while she's on maternity leave?
His name is Jason Jones. I saw him do a trial this summer, and I saw him again last night on a repeat.
I was twitchy beyond anything when I was in NYC and people were talking to me. Local people. It was every kind of wrong. And it happened a lot too. Wrong.
But... but... but... Cassie, you were staying with me...
Frank, sorry to hear about the car.
Oh Frank. I'm so sorry. That is totally of the suck.
Do you have any other transportation options?
That's not an issue short term - I've got a few different option (and my ride to Maine is set). Not sure what I'll do long term.
Also, ugh on the insurance sitch. Doesn't hurt to double check, though, while steeling yourself for the worst.
Actually, FYI everyone (but hope you don't end up in this situation), if you're not covered for theft, while you need to report the theft to the police, reporting to insurance will not only not get you anything, but end up as a black mark on your history as you are considered at risk for theft. This is from a guy here at work who used to work in insurance.
asking the cops or AAA what to do in this situation
That's the advice of been given. I just don't want to have to go to fucking Chelsea and deal with this.
Now to deal with this. Last thing I want to do today (or this weekend). Fuckity.
Oh, Frank, that well and truly sucks! I am so sorry.
but end up as a black mark on your history as you are considered at risk for theft.
That's insane, but sadly unsurprising. I hope AAA can help.
reporting to insurance will not only not get you anything, but end up as a black mark on your history as you are considered at risk for theft
OK. I'll withdraw that part of my advice.
A new robot can recognize the difference between a mirror image of itself and another robot that looks just like it.
This so-called mirror image cognition is based on artificial nerve cell groups built into the robot's computer brain that give it the ability to recognize itself and acknowledge others.
The ground-breaking technology could eventually lead to robots able to express emotions.
Under development by Junichi Takeno and a team of researchers at Meiji University in Japan, the robot represents a big step toward developing self-aware robots and in understanding and modeling human self-consciousness.
I'm so sorry, Frank! As a recent member of the "oops, I left the car right there" club, you have my sincerest sympathies.
I still have not left for PA. Eventually, right?
