The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, I could check in now too, since my flight is at 8:50 (pm). I think I will.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

She told me to just toss the laundry bag in the trunk and use her washer/dryer

I contemplated taking all my laundry to my parents' this weekend, but then I realized that with presents, luggage, the cat, and the litter box, I don't think it would all fit. So, I just got back from the laundromat and 4 loads done.

Tomorrow, I work in the morning, then in the afternoon, I need to go to the library and get some audio books for the trip then bake cookies to take with me.

Yay!! It's almost Christmas!!!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I've been known to do this. I think of it as multitasking.

Now tagless for your comfort.

the Daily Show is keeping it close to home in hiring new correspondents. First Rob Coddry's brother, now Samantha Bee's husband.

Is he covering for her while she's on maternity leave?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I missed that it was Bee's husband! Is he the other bald guy? (Yeah, names are not my forte.)

I'm off today, and tryign to decide whether I feel good enough to drive down to PA today or tomorrow... sloth is winning so far.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

In the words of Dennis Leary, Merry Fuckin' Christmas.

To me.

So I get, well, not woken up but forced out of bed, by a phone call this morning. From Chelsea Police. They found my car; I live in Salem.

It was there when I got home last night around 7pm. Fuckity fuck FUCK!!!

My insurance agent is closed, and of course I had to leave a message at the actual insurance company. And I don't think my insurance covers theft anyway (I got the miniumum to get it on the road since it's a 12 year old car). According to the police, they stripped the interior - door panels, stick shift, steering column, etc. So it's undriveable. And probably not going to be worth getting repaired.

Getting home for Xmas isn't the problem; I can do that. I just don't know if I can resolved this before I go, or if I have to, or.

Anyone know offhand if AAA will at least tow the thing some where for me under these circumstances? 'Course, I have no idea where I'd tow it to. Fuck.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, fuck, Frank. That's raw. Ask AA or the police where to tow it to--they will have more experience with this than you will (and, damn, you should have none).

In unrelated and unserious news, I've completed the hands calendar. General calendar page.

Our wings are not tired.

How awful Frank. I'm so sorry. Some humans suck. Do you have any other transportation options?
