It's 36 degrees here! No wonder it felt warm out!
Isn't it great?! I'm wearing my Santa hat, and it's almost too warm to keep it on (although I must, because I now have severe hat hair underneath it). The office is still a bit cool, though, so I'm still not completely thawed out--I think I've been cold since the beginning of December.
You Santa Hat people are WEIRD.
As I've been told a few times already today, "it's festive."
Speaking of warmer weather, if anyone is walking around downtown Chicago today, watch out for falling ice--two people have already been hurt on Michigan Avenue today.
I'm totally not getting anything accomplished today. Except for mocking the craxy voicemail lady to my coworkers.

That gives me a callous gratification. Those signs at McGill would freak me out, but no one ever got hit, so I ended up thinking they were dumb.
heh. My parents house is at the top of a 25ft hill that extends into a little used dirt road. I guess the snow on the bottom of the hill is getting a little thin so the kids are shovelling the snow from our yard and sending it down the hill on sleds. They also built a jump in the middle of the yard, but it seems too far from the hill to be any fun.
(We used to build jumps in the middle of the hill.)

I saw some woman get conked once in Montreal on St. Catherine. Knocked out cold, paramedics, the works.
The strike is definitely actually over for real now: [link]
No way we are gonna have service for the commute home though, so I am not so much caring.
