It's just so easy for some of us... What with the being super-cool and not having a lot of competition for being the super-coolest.

Heh. Most of my coolitude is due to my having a Palm. And not having kids of my own, I guess. But man, when the Palm stops being impressive, I don't know what I'll do.

But when he gets older I'll become A Bad Influence, and that's gonna be awesome.

undershod. It's a sad state in which to be.

I'd HIGHLY recommend the Danskos because they are so comfortable and yet they look good and flirty. I wear them regularly ALL DAY at work, on my feet, without a hitch. So much so that I bought a strappy pair of brown sandals with the same foot bed also from Dansko.

Seriously? I have mad love for my new green shoes.

I'm thinking green shoes, if I could find a green petticoat then that and a black top of some kind could be my new default.

Luckily, pink and green go well together so I don't need to make a choice on my hair for a while.

Also, tellingly, my Scholastic pick is me wearing green not me wearing pink.

See, Cass? worth the line. Well, worth the line because of the cute bag (and I was there with a friend). I wonder if I can find a snap of the bag.

They also have the same style of shoe in pink satin which is cute as hell.

I have a pair amazingly like your new green shoes in black patent. Unfortunately, they are cheap shoes and KILL my feet. Next trip to goodwill...

Am going to try on the danskos if I can find them. Though right now, I need boots.

Also, randomly, people at my new job actually write out holiday cards for each other which makes me feel like a slacker cause I didn't. I did give a gift to S, the librarian who convinced me to move to school and who is a genuine outside of school friend, the new and other S, who I really like (though I just potted a plant for her so....) and one woman who was really helpful to me when I first started and is a good ally and the world's nicest coworker. So strategic gifts.

Do people at your job gift and card each other? Or is it a school thing?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Thing is? Technology prevails. It's worked for me for 16 years with the neicelet and 9 with the nephlet. There is always a new toy.

Best. Part. Ever. It's awesome, really.

Kat, you are totally in charge of my accessory-buying missions from now on. Mad shopping skillz. Also you can brave the lines which is admirable.

Speaking of shoes: I'm still dying for these: [link] But Fluevog needs to make some hunter green shoes and stat.

I only gifted my former officemate, with things like a magic 8 ball, flyswatter and whatnot. He was almost a work spouse, in the sense we'd vent to each other about work AND life.

My mom just gives stuff to her favorite people and figures screw the rest. Though this year, she'd really like to send the reading coordinator and one second grade teacher some nasty poison.
