Hrm. Green. Hrm. Not around your face, though. It looks good on your shirt, but right around the face it might just look like odd brown.
PS, I love your pink and I don't even like pink. It is awesome on you.
I, ashamedly, didn't know about the hairdresser tip FOREVER. I always threw in a few extra bucks but still. I'm trying to make up for it now. OTOH, I got my Alison about 10 customers (or rather, she got them based on what she did with my hair-including men!) so I think she forgives me. Plus, I pay out big bucks to her annual marathon for Lymphoma (her very young husband had it) so I hope she forgives me for the first couple of years where I was clueless. Still trying to make up for forgetting the shampoo person.
God, tipping is fraught.
So I'm thinking green might be my new pink. I will still honor and love the pink, but I'm feeling the green love.
To the point of hair? Because green is harder to find in the face flattering shades.
sarameg, you should go to sleep. Cause of that hour earlier thing. Or, you know, stay here and chat.
Now I just need to remember if I am increasing 10% or 5% a year. I think 5% cause I could afford to keep doing 10% a year for as long as I plan to be here. And new staff, they start back down at the base.
Damn you're systematic.
OMG, I assumed green= new pink and new hair.
Maybe notsomuch? For the record, Kat, you look good in green. In case you were wondering. But I still am charmed by those boots, even as they are something I'd never wear. What was the name of those shoes, btw? Danskos?
Wow, I really need to get off my ass and buy a new headset for my phone. I just did a phone appt. with my therapist and my left arm/hand is all weak and floppy from holding the phone to my ear all that time. Like, bad enough I'm probably not going to get the work done I wanted to get done tonight.
I usually tip around 20%. But I am usually going to one of two local pubs, so it's kind of an investment in future good service. And when I go out, it's with friends and I don't think we're horribly difficult but we do get drinks, dinner, more drinks, dessert, and then talk for an hour after, so we try to tip generously for being a bit of a pain.
In breaking news, my nephew is fun! My sister in law is... nice. I suppose I should be glad she's dull, because that means that I can be a super-cool aunt with minimal effort.
Allyson! You have mail.
Which shoes, sara? The ankle maryjanes in black? Danskos.
I don't know that I'm brave enough to do green hair, though I might give it a shot. The problem is I'd want forest green and it wouldn't stay that way for long. My hair dresser's hair is currently green which looks AWESOME on her, but mightn't on me.
I was thinking more though green clothes. I bought two pairs of green shoes today. I have to take the picture of one pair because they are AMAZING. The other are sage keen's which might not be great for me becuase they might be a bit small, but would work with Lori.

It's just so easy for some of us... What with the being super-cool and not having a lot of competition for being the super-coolest.
The green heels I bought? SO cute I can't stand it. Forest green velvet with brighter green details. Low front, offset bow. Black heels so as not to cause yuckiness while driving. Cute enough that I stood in the world's longest line at Nordstrom rack to buy them.
Also, bought a great pink giraffe patterned bag for next to nothing.

Picture these but in green.
