Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins. Twenty years old. Born on the fourth of July — and don't think there weren't jokes about that my whole life, mister, 'cause there were. 'Who's our little patriot?' they'd say, when I was younger and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How cool is this? Brand new Duesenberg for 2007.

That's a doozy.

Nobody's given me any chocolate today.

However, I just discovered that new manager and minion have not been giving me the new hire paperwork after they do orientation. THEY NEED TO DO THAT. Else I cannot finish updating the HRIS record, and I get surly emails from firmwide cced to all and sundry.

You know what? I've been on this job for 2 1/2 years now and it still freakin' feels like we're making everything up as we go along. New hire protocols aren't that complicated people!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Allyson's nephew is adorable, and strangely so is the Pope (see msbelle's last link)!

Librarian Warlord

HEY!

Oh, stop it. The chocolate will run out soon enough, and then I'll forget all about 'em.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

TOM!! That is the cutest thing EVER!!!

Actually msbelle, if that even *is* your real name, I think the prize for "cutest cat in hat" still goes to MelonCat.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

No, the Pope is scary, and were I a small child, his Death Beam Eyes would make me cry.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Web 2.0 is all about making it easier to find pictures of cute animals.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

The Pope is now in the lead. A picture where the pope in a santa hat looks like the devil? Priceless. Perfect for a Christmas present to a catholic friend!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think technically that's LimeCat.

Paper continues apace. Have set an alarm so I remember to take my test at 6. This godforsaken semester is really almost over!!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Our Westlaw rep gave us nothin', but we got Joseph Schmidt from Thelen Reid yesterday, so today they are my favorite firm.

We have so much chocolate and cheese and cake and cookies and freaking everything bad for you in the kitchen it's almost kind of disgusting. Also I'm going to be in a food coma by the end of the week.
